About the Instructor Shifu (pronounced "shee-foo") Daniel Andersen is a Black Belt Martial Artist in Shaolin Kung Fu. He has studied the art for 7 1/2 years, along with the internal art of Tai Chi Chuan. He also enjoys studying the Mandarin Chinese language and Chinese culture. Shifu Daniel holds a Bachelor Degree in cultural Anthropology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Daniel accepted Christ as his Savior at a very early age, and was baptized at 8 years old. He attended Christian schools, and much of his education was founded on the Principal Approach to Christian Education. He graduated from Orangewood Christian School in 1999, and attended Seminole Community College and then the University of Central Florida. Daniel and his wife Jade have a 2 year-old son named Calvin Isaiah, and are expecting another boy in May. |
